I'm openly biased toward ClickUp as the operational backbone of every firm I work with. It's robust enough to run the business and the legal practice from one system — cases, projects, SOPs, knowledge, hiring, weekly cadence, partner-level reporting.

Most case management software stops being enough on its own as a firm scales past a handful of attorneys. Where ClickUp does have real gaps — automated billing, integrated time capture, deep conflict-checking — that's where case management software earns its place. Not as the central system. As the specialist tool plugged into the central system.
